this month to host user
group meetings in
Louisiana and Oklahoma,
each of which attracted
hundreds of attendees.
The Oklahoma WorkKeys®
and KeyTrain® User Group
Meetings were held on
February 10th
and 11th in
Oklahoma City and Tulsa
respectively. The
Louisiana NCRC and
Career Ready 101® User
Group was help in
Alexandria, LA on
February 11th.
In
Louisiana
Employers Northrop
Grumman, DOW Chemical,
and RoyOMartin shared
stories and best
practices demonstrating
how they get the most
from their programs.
Also presenting were
representatives from the
Board of Regents,
Department of Education,
local WIA's, Adult Ed,
Secondary Education, and
Louisiana Community and
Technical Colleges.
The Oklahoma events
featured presenters from
Oklahoma Gas and
Electric, High Schools,
Technical Colleges and
more. Executives from
KeyTrain and ACT-WorkKeys
spoke and answered
questions at all
sessions.
ACT
and KeyTrain-sponsored
user groups are annual
events designed to help
users get the most out
of KeyTrain, WorkKeys,
Career Ready 101 and the
NCRC. They help
interested parties
understand more about
usages in their state,
and to provide a forum
for best-practice
discussions. They
continue to grow each
year with attendance
from all key sectors
including employers,
colleges, high schools,
adult ed, workforce
development, economic
development, state
leadership, and more.
