Keytrain Computer Based Training
KeyTrain was initially designed as interactive CBT. This format provides the greatest benefits of self-paced learning and interactive multimedia. This technology has been proven to provide greater comprehension and greater retention in less time than conventional methods.

KeyTrain’s computer-based curriculum is available for all eight areas. With over 10,000 pages, KeyTrain is the most comprehensive. It is most effectively used in a networked client/server mode. In this mode, one central server contains the actual courses and a database of the performance of each learner. Other computers on the network (the "clients") can access the courses and store student records on the server.

Benefits of Networked Training Delivery

  • Students can start lessons at one computer and then resume later at another computer.
  • Records for each student are maintained in one location.
  • Instructors can access student records from anywhere on the site.
  • Site licensing means any computer on site can be used to access KeyTrain.
  • Only one copy of courses reduces storage requirements.
  • Easier license management and data backups.

KeyTrain CBT can also be used on individual, stand-alone computer workstations where networking is not practical. In either case, simple site licensing means that you can install the software on as many computers as you like and use it as many times as you like.
