Observation
Most trades and jobs are learned largely through On the Job Training (OJT).
The ability to effectively learn from OJT depends on a person's
observation skills. Good observation skills also allow a person to learn
from and adapt to new situations. Many businesses are now beginning to
appreciate how critical observation is to their success.
KeyTrain builds good observation skills
by breaking this large and complex subject into its primary components -
perception, integration, memorization and interpretation. Each of these
components is examined and practiced using a variety of interactive
exercises. Some topics include memory skills, visualization, sequencing
skills, part/whole relations, sustaining attention, and cause-effect
relationships.
This truly interactive course uses
animated sequences, puzzles, audio passages and over 20 video clips to
demonstrate and practice these skills. The video passages can be viewed directly on your computer screen using either the CD-based or Internet-based versions. (No CD is required for the Internet version.)
